I've been working on a video for a showreel to 'showcase' what computing is all about. The first stage is a fly-up from outside the college building to the 7th floor. It's at the 'first render' stage at the moment so depending upon how much time I have it may change with more detail etc... however it did take a full 8 hours just to render this 30 second clip!
This was made using Google SketchUp (free) and 3DS Max 2012 (free educational license) and several hours when I should have really been sleeping!
